Another must go in Abbotsford if you are a celiac looking for a delicious meal out! BRGR BRGR! I found it on the Find Me Gluten Free App. BRGR BRGR is not 100% gluten-free, but they are very celiac aware. The manager is a celiac! Almost all of their menu can be made gluten-free. From my discussions with the staff the grill is completely gluten-free and they have a dedicated fryer. I think that it is just the onion rings and the Kid's mac & cheese bites are not gluten-free. They have delicious gluten-free buns.
I tried their chicken burger on a gluten-free bun with a side of yam fries and a pineapple juice. It was so delicious. Really yummy. I don't know what they use for the gluten-free breading on the chicken, but even the non-celiacs enjoyed it. The chicken burger was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside with a slight smoky flavour. The gluten-free bun was fantastic, it did not fall apart and the coleslaw topping was yummy. The yam fries were some of the best I have ever had.
They are located on 33758 Essendene Ave Abbotsford BC. Here is a link to their BRGR BRGR website. We enjoyed the feel of their restaurant. Light and airy with lots of windows. For those of you in Calgary, Alberta it reminded me of the Blue Star Diner.
Here is what the ordering counter and menu inside look like. The staff were well informed regarding a celiac's needs.
It is not the best photo, but here is one of the menu they have posted outside. Next time I'm in Abbotsford, I will be eating lunch here for sure.
