I love Moo Free's chocolates. They are gluten-free, dairy free, soy free and vegan. So, again this Christmas they are my choice for my gluten-free advent calendar and some extra chocolate treats. I purchased mine from Well.ca. Here is a link to Well.ca's site. I'm not sponsored in anyway, I just find both companies to be reliable, and affordable. In Canada we still do not have as much choice, at least where I live in Alberta compared to Europe and the United Kingdom. If you are looking for an affordable, tasty, gluten-free advent calendar I suggest you buy early as they often get sold out quickly. Last year I saw the Moo Free advent calendar at the candy store in Canmore and heard that some people were able to buy them at Bulk Barn in Calgary. Because of all that is happening this year, I haven't been out shopping much, so I don't know if they stock them this year. Has anyone seen them in the stores where you are?
Update! There was just 'no way' (sorry Mom joke) I could resist No Whey's Gluten-Free Advent Calendar when I saw it today at Save On Foods in Canmore!!! Regular price is $19.99 CDN, but it was on sale for $17.99! I'm so excited as now we have two gluten-free advent calendars to enjoy this season. Check out their website at https://www.nowheychocolate.com/Default.asp
Here is a photo of the back, so that you can see the ingredients. No Whey is not only gluten-free, but dairy, tree nut, peanut, and soy free. It is also Kosher and vegan.
Now I have been spending quite a bit of time looking on the internet for gluten-free christmas treats this year. I did find Moo Free on amazon.ca, but it was cheaper to buy from Well.ca. I have found some gluten-free calendars and sweet treats on some other sites, but I haven't purchased any as I'm trying not to buy too many treats this year (we'll see how long that lasts! ^_^), and I'm on a budget and some of these gluten-free advent calendars are outside of my price range. I have included links below to the sites for your convenience. The other places I haven't yet tried. Have you tried any of these? Let me know what you thought?
I would love to hear what you have found this year!
