Outside photo of Hello 123

Had a wonderful experience at Hello 123 in the area of Monkland, Montreal. Their address is 5700 Monkland Ave, Montreal, Quebec. This is a vegan restaurant with gluten-free options. They have a small kitchen and can't guarantee no cross-contamination, but our server made me feel comfortable, and they knew about the dietary needs of a celiac. Do let them know that you are a celiac. The staff and food were great.

roasted brussel sprouts

We had two favourite dishes. The first were the Roasted Brussel Sprouts! Yes, you read correctly a brussel sprout dish. Sorry about the photo above. It is slightly blurry. I was in a hurry to eat. Even those in our group who normally shy away from brussel sprouts loved this appetizer. It was the sauce that made all the difference. It had a tangy, sweet and sour taste. They should bottle it! I would definitely buy it. I highly recommend trying this dish.

vegan blueberry cheesecake

The second favourite dish was the Vegan Blueberry Cheesecake! Wow! It was so very tasty. Great blueberry flavour and very creamy. I don't think anyone could tell it didn't have actual cream cheese in it. So delicious! I easily could have just had these two dishes and been quite happy.

We also ordered the Loaded Sweet Potato dish, the Messy Wedges and the Sesame Stir Fry with brown rice. Unfortunately, none of my photos of these dises turned out! I really need to check my photos before we start eating! ^_^ We all loved the Messy Wedges which were roasted potato wedges covered in a yummy sauce with pickled red onions. The Sesame stir fry was tasty, but the portion size of the stir fry could have been bigger. The Loaded Sweet Potato dish was not to our tastes. We liked it, but wouldn't order it again. The sweet potato was perfectly cooked, and I loved the arugula and sauce, but we all didn't like the chili pairing. I found the chili to be too strong and it overpowered the flavour of the sweet potato.

coffee latte with almond milk

I also tried their coffee latte with almond milk. It was lovely.

Here is a link to their website if you'd like to check out their menu and locations. https://www.hello123forever.com/quebec There is a Hello 123 in Toronto too. Have you been to either one? What was your favourite dish?
