photo of WestJet gluten free snack

I recently was on a domestic WestJet flight and was pleased to see this "gluten-friendly" option. Now,for my fellow celiac's out there, WestJet can't rule out any cross-contamination, therefore it is up to each celiac to decide their own comfort level. I decided that since I was on a shorter flight back home, and after reading the ingredients I would try it.

If you're interested in my other airplane food experiences, check out these blogs as well!

As you can see in the photo the snack consists of gluten-free crackers, soft cheese, gluten-free beef pepperoni sticks and dried apricots.

It cost $7.99 Canadian (2022 prices) and came in this cute box. They have fit quite alot in this box.

The crackers were tasty and crisp. I liked the flavouring. The cheese was mild. The pepperoni sticks were ok. A little fatty for me, but still tasted good. The dried apricots were delicous, I wish I had gotten more than two. The picture on the menu shows four, so I was a bit disappointed. The components went well together.

I always bring my own snacks on the plane when I travel, but if in a pinch I would buy this again. Has anyone tried this snack? What did you think?
